Sparkle — The Heartbeat of M-M Farms Healing Hooves

There are animals who come into our lives, and then there are animals who become a part of our hearts.

For me, that animal is Sparkle.

Sparkle has been part of my journey at M-M Farms from the very beginning. She was born a triplet, and from the moment I met her, I knew she was going to need a little extra love and care. I bottle-fed her, and through those feedings, long nights, little cries, and countless moments of holding her close, something very special happened.

I didn't just help raise Sparkle. I bonded with her.

There is something about bottle-feeding a baby animal that creates a connection that is hard to put into words. They learn your voice. They know your smell. They look for you. And before you realize it, you find yourself completely attached to this tiny life that depends on you.

Sparkle became one of those special pieces of my heart.

Today, when I look at her, I don't just see a goat. I see a reminder of how much love, patience, and nurturing can change a life.

That is why Sparkle holds such a special place in M-M Farms Healing Hooves. She is, in so many ways, the heartbeat of what Healing Hooves means to me.

Our farm isn't simply about raising animals. It's about connection. It's about slowing down, finding peace in the middle of a busy world, and discovering that sometimes healing can happen in the most unexpected places.

Sometimes healing looks like sitting quietly with an animal. Sometimes it sounds like a goat calling for you. Sometimes it's a bottle in your hand and a tiny baby learning that she is safe. And sometimes, healing has four little hooves.

Sparkle reminds me of all of that.

She reminds me that the smallest lives can leave the biggest footprints on our hearts. She reminds me that nurturing another living being can nurture something inside of us, too. And she reminds me why I believe so deeply in the connection between animals, people, and healing.

When I walk around M-M Farms and see Sparkle, I can't help but think about that little triplet I once held in my arms and bottle-fed. She has grown, but that bond never went away.

Sparkle is family. She is part of my story. And she is a beautiful reminder of why M-M Farms Healing Hooves exists.

Because sometimes, the animals we think we are saving are quietly helping save a little piece of us, too.

And for me, Sparkle will always be the heartbeat of Healing Hooves. ❤️🐐
